screenshot after failed attempt to complete "Set root password"

Description of problem:
When doing a text install from the 19 Alpha TC1 DVD (either i386 or x86_64), after choosing "Set root password", it prints "Please select new root password. You will have to type it twice.", then there is no prompt. If I just type a password, it's displayed in plaintext. If I type it twice and hit enter each time, nothing happens, and the installer is using 100% CPU. I can end it with Ctrl-C, giving the message "Pane is dead".

Interestingly, if I choose "Create user" first, I can complete that, though some of the fields don't show a prompt either. The "Set root password" is the only choice that's impossible to complete.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
19.12 (in 19 Alpha TC1 DVD)

How reproducible:
always

Comment 1 Andre Robatino 2013-03-24 00:21:00 UTC
Proposed Alpha Blocker under "When using the dedicated installer images, the installer must be able to complete an installation using the text, graphical and VNC installation interfaces."
