Description Filip Skola 2013-03-26 19:13:16 UTC
Description of problem: I can't really use most of the widgets in KDE. I am able to click on the tray icon and it expands, for example the battery one, but I can't click on any of the control elements within the expanded window (sliders, checkbox, ...).

I am also not able to click any of the icons which are hidden behind the "arrow up" icon on the tray. Again, I can click the arrow itself and I can see the list of hidden tray icons. But none of them are usable. Only way to use them is forbid hiding them.

I can't also add widgets on panel (or even desktop). It same as before - the widget list displays, but it's kind of frozen. No way to add widgets anywhere by double-clicking nor by drag-and-drop.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kde-workspace-4.10.1-2.fc18

How reproducible: always, tried with fresh user account

Steps to Reproduce: please try one of the things from bug desc

Actual results: clicking on widgets has no effect

Expected results: effect!

Additional info: experienced on arm7hl hfp system, fully upgraded though

I can reproduce some of these issues on x86_64 fedora with the same KDE version (unclickable icons under the 'little arrow' hider). However some of the things described works, for example it's not problem to add a widget to the default panel.
