This was discussed on anaconda-patches, but basically: There's no reason to use a checkbox here. That's an extra widget that gains us nothing. Passwords are only shown when focused, which is an idea that is gaining traction in lots of websites and other programs. There's some research showing that hiding the passwords doesn't even provide anything in the way of security, either. |
