Description Ameya Sathe 2013-05-08 05:28:37 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:17.0) Gecko/20130329 Firefox/17.0
Build Identifier:

In the file, '/etc/sysconfig/vncservers' owned by the rpm 'tigervnc-server-1.1.0-5.el6_4.1.x86_64', the following section contains a URL.

"# DO NOT RUN THIS SERVICE if your local area network is
# untrusted! For a secure way of using VNC, see this URL:
"

On opening the URL, "http://kbase.redhat.com/faq/docs/DOC-7028" the browser returns "Server not found".
Please update the URL to relevant one.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.yum install tigervnc-server-1.1.0-5.el6_4.1.x86_64
2. cat /etc/sysconfig/vncservers
3. firefox http://kbase.redhat.com/faq/docs/DOC-7028
Actual Results:
Server not found

Expected Results:
The /etc/sysconfig/vncservers needs to contain an active URL which will help in finding a secure way of using VNC.
