Thanks for your bug report.
Problem is confirmed and upstream is working on it.
The next upstream version will fix it.

Hi,

Thanks for the report - clearly a miss when the code was initially released (as an old-fashioned guy I use the applet only to notify me, but always update via console yum, hence have not spotted this - but I also do other odd things, so dont't take me as a role model).

Fixed in 0.2.8 available here:

Works for me: when the GUI installer is exited, the child is wait()-ed for. This happens ones each 10 seconds, so a zombie, if spotted at all, should be gone in 10 seconds.

Hi Assen,
thanks for the fix.
Same happens if i called yumex from mintmenu (in repos).
Will do a diff to see what you've done.
Maybe it helps me for mintmenu too.

* was pushed to the Fedora 19 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
