Description Grahams Nguimbi 2013-08-27 05:20:53 UTC
Description of problem:
I can't delete any files with the DELETE button on my laptop. In order to delete any files, I have to right click on the selected file and choose the Move To Trash option. Before installing Fedora 19 on my laptop, I was able to delete any files with the DELETE button on Windows 8.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Selected file doesn't delete when I click on the DELETE button

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select a file or files
2. Press DELETE button

Actual results:
Nothing happens after clicking on the DELETE button

Expected results:
1. I want to be able to delete any files by simply clicking on the DELETE button.

2. It can be a plus if a confirmation window appears (Do you want to delete this file? YES or NO) after clicking on the DELETE button.

3. That will be great if the user can decide to see a confirmation window every time he/she click on the DELETE button.

Additional info:
Fedora 19

Nautilus uses ctrl-delete as the shortcut to delete files.

This is being discussed upstream in https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=648658
