Description Anush Shetty 2013-08-27 20:58:10 EDT
Description of problem: We see a huge drop in performance while running large file sequential writes with iozone. This is in comparison with RHS 2.0

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a 2x2 Distributed-Replicate volume
2. Mount 2 fuse clients
3. Run iozone in clustered mode with the options: -w -c -e -i 0 -+n -r 64k -s 1g -t 8

Actual results:

Avg Throughput values for writes from 3 Runs in Kbytes/sec : 138077 : 90974

Expected results:

Results should be comparable to 2.0

Additional info:

Small correction, the size of the file was 10G and not 1G as mentioned under 'Steps to reproduce'. Apologies for the typo.
Comment 3 Anush Shetty 2013-08-27 23:05:18 EDT
We see a huge improvement in write throughput with

With 90974 Kbytes/sec
With 117405 Kbytes/sec
