Description DzungDo 2013-09-03 21:19:13 UTC
Description of problem:
Web UI -> Overview top navigation -> Register Systems
This is a link to the documentation rather than a task. For a "read only" user, this is the only "task" the user sees. It's not really a task, but a documentation. When we try to sell Satellite to a new user (especially a manager), he quickly pointed out that we have a bug!

Suggest to either remove that link or change the wording to say "Client Configuration Guide" or something because the link acutally points to the client configuration guide.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log in as any users
2. In the "Tasks" box, click on "Register Systems"
3.

Actual results:
Click on anything else takes the user to the actual tasks. But clicking on "Register Systems" takes the user to a Client Configuration Guide.

Expected results:
As the link suggests, user probably believe to land on a "system registration" page.

Comment 1 Tomas Lestach 2017-07-19 11:06:32 UTC
We have re-reviewed this bug, as part of an ongoing effort to improve Satellite/Proxy feature and bug updates, review and backlog.
We're closing this Bugzilla due to the Satellite 5 version this bug was reported against having been EOL (End-of-Life) [1].
Please re-open if the issue still exists in the latest Satellite 5 version.

Tomas
