It works in TC5:

[user@localhost ~]$ cat /etc/redhat-release
Fedora release 20 (Heisenbug)

That's from updates-testing. The 20 Alpha TC5 DVD has fedora-release-20-0.6. I don't know what the Lives/Spins have.

Comment 5 Kamil Páral 2013-09-09 16:20:52 UTC
Discussed at 2013-09-09 blocker review meeting [1]. This has been accepted as an Alpha blocker, because it violates the following F20 alpha release criterion: "Any component which prominently identifies a Fedora release version number, code name or milestone (Alpha, Beta, Final) must do so correctly." Comment 6 Tim Flink 2013-09-11 18:41:51 UTC
did a gnome install from f20 alpha RC1 dvd, release name is set correctly in /etc/fedora-release

[tflink@localhost ~]$ cat /etc/fedora-release
Fedora release 20 (Heisenbug)

moving to verified
