Which ever network install I use (HTTP or FTP so far) the first item is
successfully downloaded from 'base' and then there is a message about
loading the second ramdisk image, I can't remember the exact wording. Looks
like it's supposed to happen, but then the installer just hangs and does
nothing. The keyboard still works, so I guess the computer isn't crashed.
I've left it for hours just to see if it was being particularly slow, but
no avail. I've never got a network install to work. I couldn't see any
documented problems like this.

Is there anything on the VCs which might give us a clue?
