Description Matthew Casperson 2013-09-23 01:17:44 UTC
We have a request to implement the ability to add some free text to a content spec which can then be displayed and filtered by the DocBuilder. This would allow authors to customize the DocBuilder view using custom info beyond Product, Version, Title and ID.

So in the content spec itself you would see something like

ID = 10333
Title = Skynet User Guide
Subtitle = An overview of the Skynet CCMS
Abstract = Getting started with the Skynet CCMS
Product = Skynet
Version = 1
Edition = 1
DTD = Docbook 4.5
Copyright Holder = Red Hat
Description=Some text goes here

This came out of a discussion with the OpenShift authors, who are not using the version field, and needed some additional way to distinguish their books.
