Description Lubos Kocman 2013-09-24 17:40:10 UTC
Description of problem:

I'm unable to connect to hidden network after clean install

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

NetworkManager-0.9.9.0-12.git20130913.fc20.x86_64

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. nm-applet -> Network Settings -> Connect to a hidden network
2. use wpa 2 personal

Actual results:
dialog closes (I guess crashed). Nothing happens

Comment 1 Lubos Kocman 2013-09-26 17:18:11 UTC
I'm using cinnamon in case that it matters. I've tried to add network trough nm-connection-editor and crash happends even then if I go to connect to hidden network and will pick up the saved network.

Comment 2 Lubos Kocman 2013-09-26 17:18:38 UTC
Reproducible always

Comment 3 Lubos Kocman 2013-10-07 11:53:28 UTC
Seems like it's a problem in cinnamon

Comment 4 leigh scott 2013-10-07 13:16:56 UTC
It looks like I will need to patch cinnamon-control-center

https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-control-center/commit/panels/network?id=fa31613bd9a0b2c314abfc04c4dfe2ed53ba614f

Comment 5 Jirka Klimes 2013-10-07 13:20:26 UTC
The problem was libnm-gtk mistakenly removed some symbols, but it re-added them
again later by:
https://git.gnome.org/browse/network-manager-applet/commit/?id=e21d598896ccd2c52850f52d21fe1d5aaa4e5410
It should be right in latest libnm-gtk update.
