Created attachment 897765 [details] Upstream patch. This is the patch from upstream. I've tested the fix and I'm not able to reproduce the original problem (although it was intermitted at worst). Upstream says this fix should be shipped in the next release but I'm hoping we can go ahead and include it as a patch temporarily until the fix is offically shipped.
