Description Bryan Yount 2013-09-30 20:20:41 EDT
Created attachment 805665 [details]
5 VMs running. No scroll bar.

Description of problem:
On the "Resources" tab on the Power User Portal, the UI appears unable to display more than a few items in the "Virtual Machines' Disks & Snapshots" area. If the resolution of the screen is 1440x900, only 5 items were displayed with the 5th item being outside the expected UI for that area. The point at which the UI does not properly display is very resolution-dependent.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
3.2.2

How reproducible:
Very

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start a enough virtual machines for the list to scroll off the bottom of the screen on the Power User Portal resources tab.

Actual results:
The last item is outside the box designated for this information. No scrollbar appears.

Expected results:
A scroll bar should appear to allow the user to see all of the disks for currently running virtual machines.

Hi Bryan,

It doesn't reproduce in ovirt/master, and also not in 3.2.3-0.43.el6ev (see attachment). Checked the code, it looks like it had scroll ever since it was added.
Maybe it's has something to do we the browser (checked it in FF and chrome on Ferdora). if you don't have anymore details I suggest to move it to ON_QE.

Thanks.

I am using Firefox 24 on OS X currently but I also saw this on Firefox 24 on Fedora 19.

Hi Bryan,
since we cannot reproduce it locally, can we have access to the relevant setup?

Yes. Since it is my test system under my desk, I am emailing you the connection details now.
