the sreenshot after the configured time(30 sec)

Description of problem:
 Do a default install,after reboot ,
 try to lock the sreen by the fowlling steps:
 "User menu" - "Settings" - "Privacy" - "Screen Lock" 
 nothing happened after the configured time.

Nothing happened after the configured time

Screen should turn off and lock after configured time.

Are you logged in as a network user provided by SSSD, nss_ldap or winbind? If so, you're probably hitting BZ# 1013721

I ran into this. If in your 'Power Settings' you have 'Blank Screen' set to 'Never,' then the timing will never kick in. If you set the time for the blank screen, then the screen lock should work. The screen lock timing is dependent on the screen going blank.
