Description Saurabh 2013-10-22 07:25:01 UTC
Description of problem:
As per the present build, the quotad.socket exists in the /tmp

[root@quota1 ~]# ls -l /tmp/quotad.socket
srwxr-xr-x 1 root root 0 Oct 22 17:19 /tmp/quotad.socket

whereas it should not be the case rather it should be in /var/run/gluster

Comment 2 Vijaikumar Mallikarjuna 2015-03-02 07:45:58 UTC
Upstream patch: http://review.gluster.org/#/c/9778/

Comment 4 Anil Shah 2015-05-27 12:11:30 UTC
[root@darkknight qa1dir]# ls -ltrh /var/run/gluster/quotad.socket
srwxr-xr-x. 1 root root 0 May 27 11:52 /var/run/gluster/quotad.socket

[root@darkknight qa1dir]# locate quotad.socket
/var/run/gluster/quotad.socket

hence marking this bug as verified on build glusterfs 3.7.0 built.
