Description John Reiser 2003-08-14 15:55:26 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20030225

Description of problem:
The network-tui does not display or manipulate the [NANP] AreaCode that the gui
interface does.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
redhat-config-network-tui-1.2.15-1

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use the gui to configure a Modem connection with AreaCode.
2. # /usr/sbin/redhat-config-network-tui
3. Modem > Configure

Actual Results: No AreaCode displayed or configurable. No Prefix displayed or
configurable. (How does it expect to handle mandatory 10-digit dialing in some
parts of NANP?)

Expected Results: Complete dialing number (prefix, areacode, number) displayed
and configurable.

Additional info: NANP = NorthAmerican Numbering Plan (covers US, Canada, some
Caribbean islands).

will not be fixed soon ... tui is more or less deprecated until s.o. sends
patches ..
