error: coercing to Unicode: need string or buffer, NoneType found (more in the log file /var/log/katello/client.log)

Expected results:
version should be displayed

Works fine in SAM 1.4

# headpin -u admin -p admin version
headpin 1.4.3.26-1.el6sam_splice
