+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1025966 +++ Description of problem: tar+ssh as a data synchronization engine (optional; rsync is the default) Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): mainline
This option is not working. Tested with Version: glusterfs-3.4.0.39rhs-1.el6rhs.x86_64 I created 2 million files each of which are 500KB and even after 1 day and 20+ hours only 5000+ files are synced. Rest are not being synced.
We have couple of bugs with this option and they are being tracked by different buzilla bugs. So moving this bug to verified. Now there is an option to sync the files through tar+ssh instead of rsync which used by default.
