Description Need Real Name 2003-08-27 09:38:05 UTC
Description of problem:
I donwloaded the new 2.6 kernel beta from your ftp. It works great except for
the fact that it fails to intialize my internal usb hub. As well my
845(something) 64mb graphics card(don't laugh, I know it a bad card). Only 2D
works, 3D is emulated by the CPU instead(leaving a horrible fps of a few a second).

My guess is someone left out a few DRI drivers

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Kernel 2.6 -test4 1.32.rpm (something)

How reproducible:
Always on my computer(haven't reinstalled the kernel thou), probaly with any
other computer that has Intel Extreme graphics card(intergrated, series one)

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Buy a hp Pavilion 533c,(the next logical step is to wipe Windows :-) )
2.Install Redhat 9.0, then the kernel rpm.
3.Run a 3D game such as Chronium and/or Tux Racer

Actual results:
FPS of a few frames on 3D games(Chrouim slowed the computer to a crawl)

Expected results:
FPS of at least 20.

Additional info:
I have a HP Pavilion 533c, latest bios, have Not installed the proitary(I think)
drivers from Intel yet, The default 2.4 kernel still runs games at acceptable rates.

Comment 1 Need Real Name 2003-08-27 09:39:28 UTC
I did not install the priotary drivers to 2.4 kernel ether(maybe the installer did)
