Description Lukas Krejci 2013-11-21 18:26:33 UTC
Description of problem:
When on the Monitoring -> Metrics subtab of a resource, right-clicking on any resource in the resource tree and going into Measurements -> <SOME MEASUREMENT> will bring up a sub menu with 2 options:
1) Add Graph To Dashboard [Default]
2) Add Graph to Monitor View

The latter is not applicable any more because the Graphs subtab has been removed from the Monitoring page and merged into the Metric subtab which always shows all the enabled measurements.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
4.10.0-SNAPSHOT

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Inventory some platform
2. Go to the platform resource's detail page, Monitoring tab, Metrics subtab
3. Right-click on any resource (with measurements), go to Measurements -> <SOME MEASUREMENT> sub menu

Actual results:
2 additional sub menus will appear as per description

Expected results:
The menu item to add a graph of the metric to the Monitor view is redundant and misleading

I believe this has already been fixed. The tree context menu no longer has this option at all as far as I can see, and there is a new "Add to Dashboard" widget at the bottom of the Metrics subtab view, allowing addition to any global dash.

Assigning to MikeT and asking him for feedback. Mike close if you see fit...
