The error messages prior to crashing.

Description of problem:
The program doesn't start

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Name        : gscan2pdf
Arch        : noarch
Version     : 1.1.3
Release     : 4.fc20

How reproducible:
Always crashes on startup.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install package gscan2pdf
2. Start it from the terminal

Actual results:
A bunch of error messages and then crash.

Expected results:
The program would start.
