Description of problem: I'm running gpasted and the gpaste-applet and whenever I click on something to copy (so I can paste), it hangs for around 30 seconds and then gnome-shell crashes (and automagically restarts) The select buffer is successfully updated with the thing I clicked on, but I don't think this is intended behaviour ;-) Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: any time I select something Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Additional info: "sync clipboard with primary selection" appears to be the culprit. If I disable it the problem goes away...
I also have this problem, and I can confirm that in my case disabling "sync clipboard with primary selection" also solves the problem. But I really use that feature, so I wonder if anyone knows how to get it to work without the system hanging...
