Upstream ticket: https://fedorahosted.org/freeipa/ticket/4057
fixed in upstream master: 93de5db39e5b2e5991c32a57958cedb0f8b41848 webui: show notification instead of modal dialog on validation error c693b28babf97d22c14d37e024d551b583c4327f webui: fix required error notification in multivalued widget Note that it was fixed in slightly different way. The error message is indeed not displayed twice but the "Input form contains invalid or missing values." message remains. It's general error message when validating form. New thing is that it's not displayed in a modal dialog but as non-blocking error message at the top of the page.
Created attachment 981784 [details] error message Verified. IPA version: ------------ ipa-server-4.1.0-15.el7.x86_64
