Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
system-config-kdump-2.0.14-1.fc20

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Fedora 20 in virt-manager.
2. Install & run s-c-kdump, click "Enable", click "Manual settings", click "Apply".

Actual results:
Pop-up that says "Error writing kdump configuration:".

Expected results:
Success.

Additional info:
Happens with permissive selinux too.

Note to self: might not be relevant, but python-slip was updated to 0.6.0 in F20.

Comment 2 Martin Milata 2014-01-21 09:44:02 UTC
I probably used X11 forwarding through SSH. Policykit probably doesn't work with this setup resulting in authorization error.

Comment 3 Martin Milata 2014-01-21 10:12:13 UTC
Eh, solution is to run polkit agent first in the SSH session.

Nevertheless, s-c-kdump still fails with "Unable to handle kdump services".

Called command:
/usr/bin/systemctl enable kdump
Standard error:
Failed to issue method call: Access denied

Comment 4 Fedora Admin XMLRPC Client 2014-01-24 13:09:38 UTC
This package has changed ownership in the Fedora Package Database. Reassigning to the new owner of this component.

Comment 5 Martin Milata 2014-05-12 15:20:25 UTC
Works on F20 now.
