One of new features documented in release notes for EAP 6.2.0 is: Drive add_user script with a file The add_user script that creates users for JBoss EAP 6 can now be driven by a properties file, eliminating the need for an interactive user session. From the description of the issue I would expect that user is able to create some properties file with user=password content and pass it as a argument to add-user script to use $user and $password as user credentials. However this feature doesn't exist (at least I know nothing about its existence). The only new feature with add-user utility is BZ978984 (documented in 7.2. Enhancements)
I have removed this entry. However the text was written by Jon Doyle (IIRC) so it's possible that it may need to be reinstated. If so, I can release an updated Release Notes build after the GA. When I have an updated build of the Release Notes available on Docstage I will set this ticket to ON_QA.
Updated document is now available at [1] for confirmation. [1] http://documentation-devel.engineering.redhat.com/docs/en-US/JBoss_Enterprise_Application_Platform/6.2/html-single/6.2.0_Release_Notes
