Description wdaniel 2013-12-03 15:46:45 UTC
Description of problem:

Customer has requested that the same authentication that is set up for the Admin and User Portals be used for the Reports portal if it is installed. A more unified approach to user authentication would make set up easy and consistent in the environment.

Actual results:
Corresponding domain users are created in the reports portal if a report is generated by right-clicking in the Admin Portal, but domain users are unable to log in directly to the reports portal.

Expected results:
Once 'rhevm-manage-domains' has bound a domain to RHEV, those users should be able to log into both the Admin and Reports portal.

I need to know the technology JaseprSoft need to support in order to work with the SSO.

I think that the problem is that we allow to access the jasper directly, instead of allowing to access it only via the webadmin/userportal.

I suggest to remove the link at welcome page.

Since we currently don't have a supported reports module and sso is already supported between user portal and admin portal. I'm closing this bug.
a new bug should be opened on reports once we have a new component and support for it.
