Whisker menu upstream is at 1.2.2 which contains several improvements and fixes compared to Fedora's version 1.1.1. So it would be nice if you could update whisker menu to the latest upstream version.

Using Whisker menu 1.2.2 (from updates-testing) on Fedora 20 x86_64 Xfce Spin (installed from netinstall) for a few days. Works great so far, no issue at all. All options are working, moving between menus without clicking for example. No bug found.
