Description Jim Sibley 2003-09-04 23:01:44 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3.1) Gecko/20030425

Description of problem:
When installing taroon in text mode, there is no option to make the volumes LVM,
only RAID. GUI install has this option.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. use disk druid
2. specify volumes as lvm
3. then what?

Actual Results: there does not seem a way to make the volumes LVM

Expected Results: there should be a button that allows the volumes to be
created as LVM. The GUI interface allows this.

Comment 1 Jeremy Katz 2003-09-04 23:40:38 UTC
The text mode interface is not as fully functional as the graphical mode and
never will be. The constraints imposed by an 80x25 screen just don't allow for
some of the flexibility needed to do things like LVM sanely.
