This is an important fix. Thanks for getting it fixed upstream, Mike. There should be a stable release for this bug though. I'm wondering how long it will take before most of the pool servers will have this fixed.

I don't know when it will be fixed in RHEL6. You could increase the priority of the bug by contacting Red Hat support.
