Description Karel Volný 2013-12-07 12:39:58 UTC
SSIA, trying to start bmc-watchdog on a machine that doesn't support that, it reports OK, despite the fact that on subsequent check, the status is dead.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
freeipmi-1.2.1-6.el6_5

Steps to Reproduce:
choose an unsupported system - ppc, s390x
service bmc-watchdog start
service bmc-watchdog status

Actual results:
Starting bmc-watchdog: [ OK ]
bmc-watchdog dead but pid file exists

Expected results:
Starting bmc-watchdog: [FAILED]
bmc-watchdog is stopped
