Description of problem:
When istalling latest version of Opennms on severn I was geting
"Undefined subroutine &DBD::Pg::db::pg_server_version called at
/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/DBD/Pg.pm line 911."
I downgraded it to perl-DBD-Pg-1.21-2.i386.rpm and the install completed.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Steps to Reproduce:
Actual Results: Error during install, Undefined subroutine
&DBD::Pg::db::pg_server_version called at
/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/DBD/Pg.pm line 911.
Expected Results: Install completes.
This is severn with the 2.4.22-20.1.2024.2.36.nptl kernel.
I can confirm this bug on Fedora Core 1 -- it prevents me from
installing Red Hat's bugzilla for use at our organization.
Can we get the latest DBD::Pg thrown in to Fedora? It looks like 1.31
has been released, now. It would probably resolve this issue.
*Ping* (I think that the previous comment didn't send an email because
of a software error in BZ.)
I can confirm that perl-DBD-Pg 1.31 resolves this issue. So I assume
that it will be resolved in FC2.
