Description Nir Magnezi 2013-12-15 09:56:51 UTC
Description of problem:
=======================
packstack does not currently update puppet version (it does install puppet if it's missing).

Version-Release number of selected component:
=============================================
openstack-packstack-2013.2.1-0.19.dev935.el6ost.noarch

How reproducible:
=================
100%

Actual results:
===============
packstack fails to install openstack.

Expected results:
=================
openstack-packstack should require puppet version 2.7+ in order to work properly with the puppet manifests.

Comment 1 Nir Magnezi 2013-12-15 10:06:25 UTC
The workaround for this is to "yum update puppet" before you run packstack.

Comment 3 Martin Magr 2014-06-19 11:16:16 UTC
Packstack package should not be dependent on puppet package.
