Description of problem: Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Useful for enabling/disabling repos permanently via the command line amoung other things
Hello, yum-config-manager only provides what users can already do by modifying teh config files directly. I see little benefit in adding a special utility for e.g. adding a new repository, not to mention that users typically install an .rpm file that adds and enables new repos automatically (adobe, google-chrome). Since this has not yet been reported and you are the first person to request this I'm going to take the liberty of closing this as won't fix. If enough users happen to request the same thing we'll reconsider.
Note that its use has been documented in many places and users are known to use it frequently. https://ask.fedoraproject.org/questions/scope:all/sort:activity-desc/query:yum-config-manager/page:1/ https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Updates_Testing?rd=Updates-testing https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Upgrading_Fedora_using_yum http://wiki.centos.org/TipsAndTricks/YumAndRPM
