On a clean Fedora 20 install with updates installed, after running "authconfig --updateall" the plymouth animation start and everything locks, unable to see the desktop, unable to see VTs authconfig-6.2.6-4.fc20.x86_64 plymouth-0.8.9-3.2013.08.14.fc20.x86_64
If you do authconfig --updateall --nostart, does it still happen?

Same behaviour, running it from a VT session, it starts plymouth and locks any change VT keys. When run from an X terminal on a GNOME session, it works ok, but when you switch to another VT and go back to the X session you see now the plymouth screen, VT changes keys works but the X session is gone, it can't be found anywhere from F1 to F12, the only strange thing is that VT at F8 and up show an X cursor but a black screen
