Description of problem: In certain situations, ibus compose/candidates windows are often placed off screen, making it fairly unusable. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ibus-1.5.4-2.fc20.x86_64 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start typing in a XIM application at the lower border of your screen (my typical usage: an IRC client in xterm) OR 1. Make the candidates/compose window appear at the lower border of your screen; this is especially bad with the vertical candidates list orientation (example usage: the same as above; or type in a fullscreen non-XIM editor and reach the bottom of your screen) Actual results: The composed character or the candidates list are drawn off screen. Expected results: IBus detects this situation and draws its windows elsewhere, for instance above the input. Additional info: I recently switched to IBus from SCIM which didn't have this issue. Perhaps you could find some inspiration there.
Probably I think your bug is same with http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1676
