Description of problem: This problem does not happen with the 3.11 and earlier kernels. It happens with every released 3.12 kernel so far. After a random, and usually short, amount of time, the entire system locks up. There is no obvious trigger. The lockups have happened while engaged in a wide variety of activities. when i got the error the system didn't lock up. just got a notification shortly after booting to my desktop. machine remained functional after it occurred.
I think we're seeing 2 different bugs. ABRT just sees that the lower stack frames match, but mine appears to be triggered by nouveau and yours by the audio stack. Kernel devs: would you like me to file a separate bug for mine?
Description of problem: On initial system power-up, before any OS or grub prompt, I got the message "fast TSC calibration failed".
