Cause: Trash icon button for deleting log entries in Guided Decision Table Audit log is only visible if user has either role 'analyst' or role 'developer'. Consequence: Users without one of these roles ('analyst', 'developer') cannot see the trash icon. User with 'admin' role cannot see the icon, even though this role should grant universal access. Workaround (if any): None. Result: User with 'admin' role cannot delete log entries in Guided Decision Table Audit log, though users with role 'analyst' or 'developer' can.

Description Zuzana Krejčová 2014-01-14 13:10:47 UTC
Description of problem:
Only users with role 'analyst' or 'developer' can delete a log entry in GDT Audit log. User with role 'admin' should be allowed everything (see bug 1005981 comment 7), but such a user does not even see the trash icon used for deleting a log entry.

Comment 2 manstis 2014-02-11 15:09:17 UTC
The control for the whether the deletion icon was shown was the inverse of what it should have been: only "admins" should be able to delete audit row entries. This has been corrected.

Comment 3 Tomas Livora 2014-03-12 17:08:23 UTC
The visibility of the delete button in GDT Audit log has been corrected. However, nothing happens if a user with admin privileges clicks on this button.
