Description Filip Elias 2014-01-15 14:21:20 UTC
Description of problem:

Installer says in the Maven window: Specify the path to a valid settings.xml file, or the path where a new settings.xml should be created.

I can't specify a path without settings.xml so new settings.xml can't be created.

Comment 1 Thomas Hauser 2014-01-15 15:10:12 UTC
Cannot reproduce? Why can't you specify a path without settings.xml?

Maven Settings: Default settings xml created -> /home/thauser/.m2/settingsNEWFORDV.xml

Attached is the generated settingsNEWFORDV.xml.

The path I indicated was
/home/thauser/.m2/settingsNEWFORDV.xml

Sorry, I specified the path without the file name. I was confused by the description of the second option. I thought that it always creates maven configuration file with the same name.
