The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.
Description of problem:
I am seeing failures accessing kerberized NFS mount as AD Trusted user on IPA Client.
After some debugging, IPA Dev found that somewhere sssd is returning the AD Users principal as all lower case when it should include some upper case:
aduser1.test
instead of:
Aduser1.TEST
Thus NFS lookup is not matching the principal in question to find the key.

On IPA Server:
1. Setup IPA Server with Trust to AD Domain
2. setup kerberized NFS export (using gssproxy)
On IPA Client:
4. Setup IPA Client
5. setup kerberized NFS mount (using gssproxy) of server export
6. su - Aduser
7. cd /nfsmount/aduser1
There is probably an easier way to do this but, above is where I saw the issue.
Actual results:
permission denied error or not a directory
Expected results:
should be able to cd into dir and perform normal file operations as user

Patch that fixes the issue
I tested this patch and it fixes the issue and generally improves credential acquisition in rpc.gssd
This request was resolved in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0.
