Created attachment 854463 [details] dmesg output on a Dell I am posting a more complete set of messages from a test of Fedora-Live-Jam-KDE-x86_64-rawhide-20140121.iso on a Dell. I first tried Troubleshooting, Test Media and Boot. Screen went dark, and I CTRL-ALT-F2 was ineffective. I then tried Troubleshooting, Start with basic graphics. I used the TAB key to remove "quiet threadirqs rhgb" from the command line before continuing the boot with Enter. The system booted, showed some colored graphics and then the screen went dark. I was able to use CTRL-ALT-Del to collect these attachments. Bug 1010405 may be a duplicate of this one.
