Also something went wrong in updating firefox. rpm -q shows two versions of
firefox installed
firefox-26.0-3.fc20.i686
firefox-26.0-5.fc20.i686

Trying to remove the older one manually with rpm -e gives

error: %preun(firefox-26.0-3.fc20.i686) scriptlet failed, exit status 127
error: firefox-26.0-3.fc20.i686: erase failed

Comment 1 Jim Haynes 2014-01-18 03:12:34 UTC
Also on two machines today I have been unable to remove the old kernel, getting
the following error message.

 rpm -e kernel-3.12.6-300.fc20.i686 kernel-modules-extra-3.12.6-300.fc20.i686
error: %preun(kernel-3.12.6-300.fc20.i686) scriptlet failed, exit status 127
error: kernel-3.12.6-300.fc20.i686: erase failed
