Description of problem: This is a follow-up to Bug 1047637 relating to Kernel version 3.12.5-302.fc20. The same bug persists in the most recent Kernel version 3.12.7-300.fc20. The AMD-Vi Page Fault error continues to rear it's ugly head in kernel 3.12.7-300 At boot, several pages of status messages continue normally, until eventually the kernel issues a page fault warning and goes into an endless loop. If I'm lucky, the machine will hang on boot only a dozen times before it will successfully boot. This renders the machine unusable for it's intended role. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 3.12.7-300.fc20.x86_64 How reproducible: Always. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Upgrade to current kernel release. 2. Boot. 3. Actual results: AMD-Vi page fault errors and endless loop at boot Expected results: normal boot. Additional info: See attachments.
