The CLI gets this description from the SDK, which in turn gets it from the backend, so if there is an issue it is in the backend, not in the API.
Michal, can you take a look?
shahar, you adressed couple of these before, maybe related...?
*** Bug 965617 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Tested on av7. The destination host in not displayed at all now. Shahar, Is it OK? [RHEVM shell (connected)]# list jobs id : 8853de78-ec33-4583-bca0-e25a6f7b2134 description: Migrating VM POOL-1
Please select destination host to migrate to and look at the message
Retested on av7, with VM migration to a specific host: [RHEVM shell (connected)]# list jobs id : e7c462f7-2338-4ef1-aa75-83a97bbd0dc1 description: Migrating VM POOL-1 to Host Non interactive user As the target host name do not appear moving to Failed_QA
Ilanit, I mistakenly put it ON_QA based on MODIFIED state…but looking at the gerrit this was never merged to 3.4 branch. Shahar, aren't we missing a backport?
(In reply to Michal Skrivanek from comment #9) Yes, It did not make it to 3.4. I will post a patch
patch posted for 3.4 http://gerrit.ovirt.org/#/c/27342/ patch 2c52495976cbf0d99979c02380a51762d41e9feb change the "Unknow" to "Non interactive user" - it doesn't look good for Host...
now finally modified in ovirt-engine-3.4
Verified on AV9: In order to see the target host name, need to select specific host for the migration. Otherwise the target host is not mentioned There is a separate bug for this inconsistency, bug 1092924
