Created attachment 853855 [details] Patch to add network device hardware address Description of problem: The lxc-fedora template does not generate a network hardware address. This has the inconvenient that each time the container is rebooted the DHCP server assigns a different IP address. I include a patch that fixes the issue (copying some code from the lxc-ubuntu template) Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): lxc-templates-0.9.0-2.fc20.x86_64 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Just create a new container "lxc-create -t fedora -n test -- -R 20" 2. Check that /var/lib/lxc/test/config does not contain a lxc.network.hwaddr entry.
This is fixed in upsteam code and templates.
