We currently host our own maven repository for jars: http://rhbd.s3.amazonaws.com/maven/indexV2.html This is maintained manually using s3, jquery, html, ... Its a nice little app, but in time we can officially publish direct to maven central using this guide, and hosting on sonatype (or else maybe red hat one day can be an official maven repo): https://docs.sonatype.org/display/Repository/Sonatype+OSS+Maven+Repository+Usage+Guide#SonatypeOSSMavenRepositoryUsageGuide-2.Signup Either way : Lets start publishing to maven central : its the standard way that jars are shared for apache related projects. Examples: - http://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.apache.pig/pig/0.10.0 - http://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.apache.hadoop/hadoop-core - http://mvnrepository.com/artifact/com.datasalt.pangool/pangool-core/0.40
