There is a pretty serious bug in 0.6.22 which prevents backing up to the root of an Amazon S3 bucket: * https://bugs.launchpad.net/duplicity/+bug/1218425 * http://lists.nongnu.org/archive/html/duplicity-talk/2013-09/msg00011.html This bug is apparently fixed in 0.6.23.

I backported the amazon s3 backup fix to 0.6.22 package in Fedora but I have updated Rawhide to 0.6.23 now and will look into pushing the update for other branches as well
