Description of problem: The current selinux (policy?) is preventing new thumbnails to be created, though labeling is okay (thumb_home_t on both the .thumbnails and normal directories) and there isn't any AVC Alert shown. I've relabeled the whole filesystem and applied solutions stated on bug #910113 (relabeling and restorecon) with no luck. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): selinux-policy-3.12.1-119.fc20 (I don't know exactly which selinux package is causing this, I assume it's the selinux-policy package) How reproducible: Thumbnails aren't shown in any directory on any filesystem, when SELinux is in "enforcing" mode. Steps to Reproduce: 1.SELinux in "enforcing" mode doesn't let any thumbnail to be created 2.Change SELinux mode to "disbaled" mode 3.Thumbnailers work fine now Actual results: Thumbnails aren't created Expected results: Thumbnails to be created/An AVC Alert shown Additional info: Using XFCE with Thunar as the file manager; with the latest updates installed as that of today (01/26/2014). I can provide any other information you may need.
Is auditd running? Also what does # ausearch -m user_avc
