From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030529 Description of problem: I want to install the redhat unsupported 2.6 test6 kernel on fedora test2. I was looking at the list of needed packages and I noticed that almost all of the needed packages (or updated versions of them) are a part of severn test2 with the exception of modutils. modutils-2.4.25-9 is in severn and modutils-2.4.25-10 is at http://people.redhat.com/arjanv/2.5/RPMS.kernel/ which is needed for the 2.6 test kernel. I was wondering if putting in an older version of modutils was on purpose or it is a bug? Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.4.25-9 verus 2.4.25-10 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. try to install kernel 2.6-test6 on fedora test2 2. 3. Actual Results: I haven't gotten around to downloading and installing the 2.6 kernel yet. I am just checking the dependencies. Expected Results: I would like to be able to install the 2.6 test kerenels without having to download any other software. I would be nice if you could include the modutils-2.4.25-10 in test3 of fedora. Additional info:
It will be in later builds.
