Description Sergio Basto 2014-01-30 16:44:55 UTC
Description of problem:
with version in updates when I open files , in kde , the navigation folders doesn't work , the first line , don't understand why

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
audacious-3.4.3-1

How reproducible:
open audacious and click open files or add files

Comment 1 Michael Schwendt 2014-01-30 17:10:52 UTC
Please describe the problem more accurately. Attaching your ~/.config/audacious/config file may be an idea, too.

Audacious is unrelated to KDE.

> with version in updates

It only includes minor changes.

Comment 2 Sergio Basto 2014-01-30 20:35:10 UTC
cat ~/.config/audacious/config
[gtkui]
column_widths=-1,-1,-1,-1,-1
column_expand=1,1,1,0,0
player_x=230
player_y=225

[audgui]
filesel_path=/home/sergio/Documents/MyMusic/grupos

[gtkui-layout]
item_count=0

before report this bug I clean all file in ~/.config/audacious/ except playlists

In the Navigation bar, in first row of opened dialog , we can see the folders hierarchically, but when I click on them nothing happened.
I switch to gnome and works in there , so just happens in KDE, I test it in two different computers .

Thanks

Comment 3 Michael Schwendt 2014-01-30 20:47:13 UTC
Better. Thanks!

Confirmed. It's specific to KDE (dunno which component to choose in bugzilla), but not specific to Audacious.

For example, the Eye of GNOME image viewer (eog) is affected, too.

In KDE, when clicking the various folder buttons for the current path as displayed in the following image ( https://developer.gnome.org/gtk3/3.2/GtkFileChooserDialog.html ) nothing happens.

Comment 4 Sergio Basto 2014-01-30 21:21:13 UTC
yeap , eog is also affected by this bug ...

Thanks ! ,

Comment 5 Rex Dieter 2014-01-30 21:26:24 UTC
are these each gtk3 apps?

What versions of oxygen-gtk are you using?

rpm -q oxygen-gtk2 oxygen-gtk3

Comment 6 Rex Dieter 2014-01-30 21:31:37 UTC
I think I can reproduce the problem on my box with
oxygen-gtk-1.3.2-1.fc20.x86_64

in audacious Open Files dialog, clicking on path icon items at the top does nothing.

Comment 7 Rex Dieter 2014-01-30 21:35:40 UTC
Hrm, switching to Adwaita, it does the same thing. maybe not related to oxygen-gtk afterall, more testing...

Comment 8 Rex Dieter 2014-01-30 21:36:47 UTC
ok, wierd, restart app, and now it works in Adwaita (I blame gremlins)

yes is the bug in question

rpm -q oxygen-gtk2 oxygen-gtk3

oxygen-gtk2-1.4.2-1.fc20.x86_64
oxygen-gtk2-1.4.2-1.fc20.i686
oxygen-gtk3-1.3.2-1.fc20.x86_64

what is "in Adwaita" ?

Comment 10 Rex Dieter 2014-01-30 21:41:28 UTC
I tested Adwaita gtk theme, and at first clicking icons there had the same problem as oxygen-gtk. but it fixed itself restarting the app after change of theme.

Comment 11 nucleo 2014-01-31 00:09:09 UTC
Temporary fix is set "Drag windows from titlebar only" in oxygen-settings.

Comment 12 Sergio Basto 2014-01-31 21:29:37 UTC
I can confirm

command oxygen-settings -> widget style -> general -> windows drag mode -> "Drag windows from titlebar only"

fix it.

Comment 13 nucleo 2014-02-01 02:27:49 UTC
Please test oxygen-gtk3-1.3.3-2.fc20 from updates-testing with "Drag windows from all empty areas" in oxygen-settings.
